Our Business and Supply Chains
Medical Marketing Economics, LLC, (MME) is a consultancy whose home offices are in Oxford, Mississippi, and Montclair, New Jersey. Our supply chains are primarily composed of organizations within the US. MME is not a producer, manufacturer, or retailer of physical goods and has no supply chains in relation to those activities. MME’s supply chains consist mainly of other professional service providers whose employees have qualifications and skills that are unlikely to be exploited through forced labor. We believe the risk for modern slavery and human trafficking occurring in our supply chains and business is low, but we understand the importance of being vigilant.
Our Policy
Modern slavery is a term used to encompass slavery, servitude, forced and compulsory labor, bonded and child labor, and human trafficking. Human trafficking is where a person arranges or facilitates the travel of another person with a view to that person being exploited. Modern slavery is a crime and a violation of fundamental human rights.
MME strictly prohibits the use of modern slavery and human trafficking in our operations and supply chains. This policy applies to all persons working for MME or on our behalf in any capacity, including partners, employees, contractors, and vendors.
Commitments
MME expects everyone working with us or on our behalf to support and uphold the following measures to prevent modern slavery:
- We have a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery in our organization and our supply chains.
- The prevention, detection, and reporting of modern slavery in any part of our organization or supply chains is the responsibility of everyone working for us or on our behalf. Workers must not engage in, facilitate, or fail to report any activity that might lead to, or suggest, a breach of this policy.
- If we find that other individuals or organizations working on our behalf have breached this policy, we will take appropriate action. This action may range from the possibility of breaches being remediated to terminating such relationships.
